Support Groups
If you or a loved one is faced with a chronic illness, talking with people experiencing the same challenges is often helpful. Warren Hospital offers a number of support groups; most are free, and most are led by a professional staff member.
Caregiver Support Group
At our Caregiver Support Group we talk about the lastest news & updates regarding Alzheimer's and other dementias, tips & techniques on how to care for your family members, and your own health as caregivers.
You will find a group of supportive people who will allow you to cry, laugh and vent your frustrations. This is a safe place to find others who understand what you are going through.
Our Caregiver Support Group is held every 3rd Saturday of the Month @ 11:00am at the Comfort Zone

Depression and Bipolar Disorder Discussion and Support Group
Meets every other Thursday September 6, 0212 through December 13, 2012. No meeting on Thanksgiving.
Presented by the Behavioral Health Services Department of St. Luke's Warren Hospital. Facilitated by Ginni Truglio, BA, Masters of Social Work Intern.
Must be 18 years old and older. This group meets to share similar struggles that they may be having, such as raising children or maintaining employment while having symptons of depression. The group is encouraged to utilize the group's coping skills in dealing with all of life's issues.

Grief Support Group
St. Luke's Warren Hospital presents an 8-week series beginning on June 19, 2013 for those at any point in the grieving process who feel they might benefit from guided support. If you (or someone you care about) have recently lost a loved one, you may be facing the most difficult time of your life. Bereavement can be a shadowy, despair-filled place where one feels overwhelmingly alone. It can last weeks, months or years, and it can isolate you from friends, family and children.
If you are coping with a major loss in your life, please consider joining Kristen Powell, MSW, LCSW, of Compassionate Care Hospice, for this 8-week guided support series.

Parents of Children in Acute Psychiatric Crisis

Voices of Women
A support group for LADIES ONLY. Facilitated by Lisa Petrucelli, MSW. LCSW. A discussion group to inspire fellowship and positive change. This monthly meeting will provide a forum for women to achieve individual and group excellence. Love, faith, courage, respect, independence, and confidence are characteristics we as women need to embody on a regular basis. As a group we will explore each other's worlds, hear one another's voice, and hopefully, inspire change as a whole. This wellness group holds no taboos, no judgements, and no criticisms.
