Vascular Laboratory

If your physician suspects you are having problems with your circulatory system, specialized ultrasound tests can help make an accurate diagnosis. At our Vascular Laboratory you benefit from:
  • Exceptional equipment and skilled technologists that produce the clearest images for an accurate diagnosis.
  • Experienced vascular medical staff overseeing and evaluating all tests.
  • A new facility adjacent to the main hospital with convenient parking.
  • Accreditation from the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories. With this rigorous, voluntary inspection you can be assured of a well-qualified staff, accurate evaluations and modern technology.
New varicose vein procedure

The Vascular Laboratory offers a minimally invasive procedure for treating varicose veins caused by faulty valves in the leg. With the Closure technique:
  • A vascular surgeon uses a thin catheter and radiofrequency energy to collapse the damaged vein.
  • Healthy veins take over for the closed vein.
  • It is an outpatient procedure and only local or regional anesthesia is needed.
  • Unlike vein stripping, there is minimal bruising and soreness. You will probably return to your normal routine within a day or two of the procedure.
