St. Luke's and Upper Perkiomen High School to host Inaugural Breast Cancer Awareness Game

Pennsburg, PA (10/3/2011) - St. Luke's Upper Perkiomen Outpatient Center is partnering with Upper Perkiomen High School to host the inaugural Breast Cancer Awareness Game on October 7th. The home football game against Owen J. Roberts High School is scheduled to start at 7 pm at Indian Stadium in Pennsburg. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults and $3 for children.

The Upper Perkiomen Indians will be wearing pink game jerseys and both teams will wear pink ribbon stickers on their helmets and pink athletic tape to show their support in the battle against breast cancer. Free rally towels will be given to the first 1,000 attendees and there will be a raffle for a hand painted pink football. Fans of both teams are encouraged to wear pink shirts that are being sold at the game for $10 by the Upper Perkiomen Touchdown Club. Proceeds from the sales will support breast care services at St. Luke's Upper Perkiomen Outpatient Center.

A special thank you to the Upper Perkiomen Touchdown Club for their efforts in raising awareness for the fight against breast cancer.

Come out and support breast cancer awareness and your local football team!
