(Ryan White Part B Funded Program)

Provides services to individuals living with or affected by HIV/AIDS. The program is available to residents in Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon and Monroe counties. All services are provided by bilingual, bicultural staff and are free and confidential.

Hours

  • Services are provided Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm by appointment only.

ASC Prevention Services provides confidential or anonymous rapid HIV testing at both of our clinics and at community events in our van.
  • Have test results in 20 minutes 
  • Oral swab test - No blood; no needles

ASC-Bethlehem

    •  Walk-in testing:
           o Monday: 9 am to noon
           o Wednesday: 1 pm to 4 pm   (First Wednesday of every month: 1 to 6:30 pm)

    •  By Appointment:

    •  Walk-in testing:
         o Tuesday: 3 pm to 6 pm   (First Tuesday of every month: 3 pm to 6:30 pm)
         o Thursday: 1 pm to 4 pm

PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis)

PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) now available at ASC. Taken daily, PrEP can reduce the risk of getting HIV by 90% from sexual exposure, and by 70% from intravenous drug use (http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/basics/prep.html).

  • The Center for Disease Control recommends everybody between the ages of 13-64 should be tested once in their lifetime.

ASC Primary and Specialty HIV Care

(Ryan White Part C Funded Program)

Provides comprehensive primary and specialty care to people living with HIV/AIDS, mainly those who have Medicare/Medicaid, those who do not have insurance and cannot afford to pay for the care they need. Private insurance is also accepted.
