Bladder Cancer Treatment

St. Luke's Warren Hospital offers blue light cystocopy, the latest diagnostic tool for patients with bladder cancer. This procedure inserts a liquid dye, called Cysview®, into the bladder, which causes cancer cells to glow bright pink under a blue light. This enhanced procedure allows our urologists to find bladder tumors, which can sometimes go undetected under the traditional white light, more easily. Cysview is used to detect bladder cancer in individuals suspected or known to have lesions.

St. Luke's Warren is one of only ten hospitals in the country offering blue light cystocopy.

"The blue light system has been amazing. Using it, I have helped many patients with the detection of malignancies that would not otherwise be visible. I am proud to say we are among an elite group of hospitals that offer this procedure." - Franklin Margolis, Urologist, Summit Urology
