St. Luke's University Health Network was among the first in the region to offer minimally invasive aortic valve replacement surgery, and was named one of the nation's 50 top cardiovascular hospitals by Thomson Reuters for 2012. St. Luke's is the ONLY hospital in the region to earn this distinction.

St. Luke's is the first hospital in the Lehigh Valley approved to perform the groundbreaking transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedure independently.  St. Luke's began performing this leading-edge procedure in July 2012.
