The program, which was founded in 1980, has dual accreditation from both the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and the American Osteopathic Association. It is affiliated with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.
