Telephone
The main hospital phone number is (908) 859-6700. Telephones in patient rooms may be dialed directly. You may receive telephone calls at your bedside between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm and place calls at any time.
For local calls, dial 7 + number.
For local Pennsylvania calls, dial 7 + 1 + area code + number.
For toll-free calls, dial 7 + 1 + area code + number.
For toll calls, follow the instructions on the calling card if you were given one upon admission. If you need assistance, or if you need a TTY phone, dial "0" for the hospital operator.
Gift Shop and Coffee Shop
The Wishing Well Gift Shop, located to the rear of the main lobby, is open from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm weekdays, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Saturdays, and 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm Sundays. A variety of gift items, magazines, candy and toiletries are available. The gift shop also circulates a gift cart to all patient areas.
The Coffee Shop, adjacent to the main lobby, offers deli and grill items, salads, snacks, drinks and Starbucks coffee. Service hours are from 7:00 am to 7:15 pm weekdays and 10:15 am to 6:15 pm weekends. The coffee shop may be reached by dialing extension 2690.
Television
Television service is free for our patients. Patient rooms are equipped with either 10-inch or 20-inch television sets, and dial settings may vary depending on the set size.
Mail, Newspaper and Flower Deliveries
Volunteers will deliver mail and flowers to your bedside. Newspapers are sold on patient floors on Wednesday and Saturday mornings and are also available in the gift shop. You may have a paper delivered to your room by dialing extension 2199.
Spiritual Care
Warren Hospital is committed to providing spiritual as well as medical care to patients and their families. Spiritual care is available through the Pastoral Care Department. The Director of Pastoral Care works with clergy and lay volunteers from various faith traditions to help meet spiritual and religious needs.
The Smith Chapel, located on the first floor, is open to all patients and families for prayer, reflection, quiet and solitude. A Catholic Mass is held there at 12:10 p.m. on Tuesdays. Nondenominational services are also held in the chapel. A chapel channel is available on patient televisions without charge.
If you would like the leaders of your faith community informed of your admission, or to request a visit, please mention it during the admission process. You may also ask one of our pastoral care volunteers to make the contact for you when they visit you in your room.
